When pursuing a degree in today’s world, veterans have many different options to choose from. College Factual was founded, in part, to help students make the decision as to what would be the best school for them. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in Minnesota for Library Science” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 5,950 people earned their degree in library and information science, making the major the 121st most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, library and information science graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $43,949 and had an average of $27,472 in loans still to pay off.
Across Minnesota, there were 33 library and information science graduates with average earnings and debt of $41,670 and $0 respectively.
Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent library and information science programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

Most Veteran Friendly in Minnesota for Library Science

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend St Catherine University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Minnesota for Library Science list. Saint Paul, Minnesota is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s library science degrees to 33 students in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at St. Kate’s, the school also landed the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Of the 4,277 students enrolled at St. Kate’s, 55 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
