You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Dominican University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Best Value Library Science Schools in the Great Lakes Region list. Dominican U is a small private not-for-profit school situated in River Forest, Illinois. It awarded 66 ’s library science degrees in 2020-2021.

Dominican U did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #3 on our “Best Library Science Schools in the Great Lakes Region” list. The estimated yearly cost for Dominican U is $18,645 for Great Lakes Region Library Science students.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Wisconsin - Madison. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Best Value Library Science Schools in the Great Lakes Region list. UW - Madison is located in Madison, Wisconsin and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 90 ’s library science degrees to qualified students.

In addition to being on our great lakes region library science students list, UW - Madison has also earned the #1 rank in our “Best Library Science Schools in the Great Lakes Region” ranking. The yearly cost to attend UW - Madison is $17,234 for Great Lakes Region Library Science students.

The school has an impressive undergrad student loan default rate. It’s only 0.9%, which is much lower than the national rate of 10.1%. Students who start out at the school are likely to stick around. The freshman retention rate is 95%.

Located in Kent, Ohio, this large public school awarded 173 diplomas to qualified ’s library science students in 2020-2021.
