In 2020-2021, 4,612 people earned their degree in financial mathematics, making the major the 153rd most popular in the United States.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Financial Math” ranking analyzed 8 colleges that offered a degree in financial mathematics. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent financial mathematics programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Financial Math. This fairly large school is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and it awarded 85 ’s financial math degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our new england region vets studying financial math list, MIT has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 129 of the 11,254 students enrolled at MIT were GI Bill® students, of which 38 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Boston College is a fairly large school located in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts that handed out 71 ’s financial math degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our new england region vets studying financial math list, Boston College has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 170 of the 14,934 students enrolled at Boston College were GI Bill® students, of which 100 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $17,142. To help with additional expenses, 64 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

University of Massachusetts Amherst is located in Amherst, Massachusetts and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 17 ’s financial math degrees to qualified students.
