Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for General Applied Math” ranking is one tool we have developed to help in this regard.
In 2020-2021, 4,667 people earned their degree in general applied mathematics, making the major the 152nd most popular in the United States.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for General Applied Math. University of Michigan - Ann Arbor is a large school located in Ann Arbor, Michigan that handed out 15 ’s general applied math degrees in 2020-2021.
