Out of the 2 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in North Carolina for Applied Math for a Master’s that were part of this year’s ranking, North Carolina State University landed the #1 spot on the list. Raleigh, North Carolina is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s applied math degrees to 30 students in 2020-2021.

NC State did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #2 on our “Best Applied Mathematics Master’s Degree Schools in North Carolina” list.According to our most recent data, UNC Charlotte supports 30,146 students, and 1,476 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 642 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $4,691. To help with additional expenses, 13 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

With a freshman retention rate of 85%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its undergraduate students. The undergrad student loan default rate at the school is [DEFAULT_RATE_STRING]%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%.
