Across Arizona, there were 328 mathematics graduates with average earnings and debt of $41,882 and $19,945 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 274 mathematics graduates with average earnings and debt of $41,087 and $27,181 respectively.

Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent mathematics programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

Located in Tempe, Arizona, this large public school awarded 136 degrees to qualified bachelors’s math students in 2020-2021.

ASU - Tempe not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #2 on our “Best Mathematics Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Arizona” list.Our most recent data shows that 7,566 of the 74,795 students enrolled at ASU - Tempe were GI Bill® students, of which 3,828 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Arizona. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Arizona for Math for a Bachelor’s list. Tucson, Arizona is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s math degrees to 84 students in 2020-2021.

University of Arizona also made our “Best Mathematics Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Arizona” list, coming in at #1.Our most recent data shows that 2,131 of the 45,601 students enrolled at University of Arizona were GI Bill® students, of which 1,478 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $8,880. To help with additional expenses, 31 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.
