In 2020-2021, 19,594 people earned their degree in heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration, making the major the 192nd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $32,998 and had an average of $11,353 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 2,552 heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,589 and $11,416 respectively.

The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
