In 2020-2021, 8,717 people earned their degree in heavy/industrial equipment maintenance, making the major the 195th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, heavy/industrial equipment maintenance graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $44,254 and had an average of $12,397 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 5,735 heavy/industrial equipment maintenance graduates with average earnings and debt of $44,307 and $9,669 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Equipment Maintenance” ranking analyzed 21 colleges that offered a degree in heavy/industrial equipment maintenance. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great heavy/industrial equipment maintenance programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
