You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Sonoran Desert Institute. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly for Gunsmithing/Gunsmith for an Associate. Sonoran Desert Institute is located in Scottsdale, Arizona and, has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 650 associates’s gunsmithing/gunsmith degrees to qualified students.
In addition to being on our associate degree vets studying gunsmithing/gunsmith list, Sonoran Desert Institute has also earned the #1 rank in our “Best Gunsmithing/Gunsmith Associate Degree Schools” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 2,393 of the 2,709 students enrolled at Sonoran Desert Institute were GI Bill® students, of which 1,826 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $6,159. To help with additional expenses, 0 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Sonoran Desert Institute does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly for Gunsmithing/Gunsmith for an Associate. Located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, this medium-sized public school awarded 8 degrees to qualified associates’s gunsmithing/gunsmith students in 2020-2021.
FTCC also made our “Best Gunsmithing/Gunsmith Associate Degree Schools” list, coming in at #2.Of the 10,932 students enrolled at Fayetteville Technical Community College, 2,618 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 1,269 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $1,321. In addition to receiving other benefits, 24 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.
