Top 5 Best Historic Preservation Master’s Degree Colleges for Veterans in the Southeast Region
Out of the 5 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Historic Preservation for a Master’s that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Florida landed the #1 spot on the list. UF is a large public school situated in Gainesville, Florida. It awarded 4 masters’s historic preservation degrees in 2020-2021.

SCAD is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in Savannah, Georgia. It awarded 7 masters’s historic preservation degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our southeast region master’s degree vets studying historic preservation list, SCAD has also earned the #2 rank in our “Best Historic Preservation Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Among the 14,265 students enrolled at SCAD, 193 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 135 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $20,695. On top of their other funding sources, 91 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
