In 2020-2021, 9,057 people earned their degree in general multi-/interdisciplinary studies, making the major the 94th most popular in the United States.

Across the Southeast region, there were 4,401 general multi-/interdisciplinary studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 4,144 general multi-/interdisciplinary studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,400 and $27,180 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Individualized Major for a Bachelor’s” ranking looked at 22 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in general multi-/interdisciplinary studies. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent general multi-/interdisciplinary studies programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
