In 2019-2020, science, technology and society graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $41,177 and had an average of $22,529 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 260 science, technology and society graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,827 and $21,260 respectively. You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend James Madison University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Science, Tech & Society for a Bachelor’s list. James Madison University is a public institution located in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The school has a large population, and it awarded 93 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our southeast region bachelor’s degree vets studying science, tech & society list, JMU has also earned the #2 rank in our “Best Science, Technology & Society Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 842 of the 21,594 students enrolled at James Madison University were GI Bill® students, of which 464 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Science, Tech & Society for a Bachelor’s. Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, this large public school handed out 58 diplomas to qualified bachelors’s science, tech and society students in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at NC State, the school also landed the #4 spot in our “Best Science, Technology & Society Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Among the 36,042 students enrolled at NC State, 1,102 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
