Out of the 4 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly for Science, Tech & Society for a Master’s that were part of this year’s ranking, Georgetown University landed the #1 spot on the list. Georgetown is a private not-for-profit institution located in Washington, District of Columbia. The school has a large population, and it awarded 60 masters’s degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our master’s degree vets studying science, tech & society list, Georgetown has also earned the #1 rank in our “Best Science, Technology & Society Master’s Degree Schools” ranking.According to our most recent data, Georgetown supports 19,371 students, and 10 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 5 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Located in Los Angeles, California, this large private not-for-profit school awarded 2 degrees to qualified masters’s science, tech and society students in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our master’s degree vets studying science, tech & society list, USC has also earned the #2 rank in our “Best Science, Technology & Society Master’s Degree Schools” ranking.Among the 46,287 students enrolled at University of Southern California, 1,311 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 862 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $20,487. During this same period, 388 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

ASU - Tempe is a large public school situated in Tempe, Arizona. It awarded 14 masters’s science, tech and society degrees in 2020-2021.
ASU - Tempe also took the #4 spot in our “Best Science, Technology & Society Master’s Degree Schools” ranking.According to our most recent data, Arizona State University - Tempe supports 74,795 students, and 7,566 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 3,828 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $6,068. In addition to receiving other benefits, 672 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

Located in Troy, New York, this medium-sized private not-for-profit school awarded 3 diplomas to qualified masters’s science, tech and society students in 2020-2021.

It is also #3 on our “Best Science, Technology & Society Master’s Degree Schools” list.According to our most recent data, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute supports 7,501 students, and 104 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 72 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
