Top 4 Best Science, Technology & Society Colleges for Veterans in the Southeast Region
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend James Madison University. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Science, Tech & Society. This large school is located in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and it awarded 93 ’s science, tech and society degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our southeast region vets studying science, tech & society list, JMU has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Of the 21,594 students enrolled at JMU, 842 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 464 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $5,824. North Carolina State University is a large school located in Raleigh, North Carolina that handed out 58 ’s science, tech and society degrees in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at NC State, the school also landed the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 1,102 of the 36,042 students enrolled at North Carolina State University were GI Bill® students, of which 493 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Georgia Institute of Technology - Main Campus is a public institution located in Atlanta, Georgia. The school has a large population, and it awarded 59 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Georgia Tech did well in our major quality rankings, too. Vanderbilt University is located in Nashville, Tennessee and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 18 ’s science, tech and society degrees to qualified students.
