Out of the 11 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Sustainability that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Florida landed the #1 spot on the list. Located in Gainesville, Florida, this large public school handed out 84 diplomas to qualified ’s sustainability students in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our southeast region vets studying sustainability list, UF has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Of the 53,372 students enrolled at University of Florida, 1 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend George Mason University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Sustainability list. Located in Fairfax, Virginia, this large public school awarded 34 degrees to qualified ’s sustainability students in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our southeast region vets studying sustainability list, GMU has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Among the 38,541 students enrolled at George Mason University, 2,334 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 1,583 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $10,710. In addition to receiving other benefits, 42 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

University of South Florida - Main Campus is located in Tampa, Florida and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 74 ’s sustainability degrees to qualified students.
USF Tampa not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Our most recent data shows that 2,211 of the 50,626 students enrolled at University of South Florida - Main Campus were GI Bill® students, of which 1,241 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. University of North Carolina at Charlotte is a large public school situated in Charlotte, North Carolina. It awarded 10 ’s sustainability degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our southeast region vets studying sustainability list, UNC Charlotte has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.According to our most recent data, University of North Carolina at Charlotte supports 30,146 students, and 1,476 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 642 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Out of that number, 458 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $8,599.
