Out of the 6 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Oklahoma for Parks & Rec for a Master’s that were part of this year’s ranking, Southern Nazarene University landed the #1 spot on the list. Located in Bethany, Oklahoma, this small private not-for-profit school handed out 27 diplomas to qualified masters’s parks and rec students in 2020-2021.
SNU also made our “Best Parks, Recreation, Leisure, & Fitness Studies Master’s Degree Schools in Oklahoma” list, coming in at #1.Among the 2,208 students enrolled at SNU, 311 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Oklahoma for Parks & Rec for a Master’s. Stillwater, Oklahoma is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s parks and rec degrees to 15 students in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our oklahoma master’s degree vets studying parks & rec list, OSU has also earned the #2 rank in our “Best Parks, Recreation, Leisure, & Fitness Studies Master’s Degree Schools in Oklahoma” ranking.Among the 24,535 students enrolled at Oklahoma State University - Main Campus, 1,038 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 439 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $7,226. To help with additional expenses, 39 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Oklahoma State University - Main Campus offers credit for military training for eligible students.

Located in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, this medium-sized public school awarded 10 degrees to qualified masters’s parks and rec students in 2020-2021.
NSU also made our “Best Parks, Recreation, Leisure, & Fitness Studies Master’s Degree Schools in Oklahoma” list, coming in at #6.According to our most recent data, NSU supports 7,349 students, and 304 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 118 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
