For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for General Cosmetology” ranking, we looked at 6 colleges that offer a degree in general cosmetology/cosmetologist. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent general cosmetology/cosmetologist programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Fayetteville Technical Community College. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for General Cosmetology. Located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, this medium-sized public school awarded 20 degrees to qualified ’s general cosmetology students in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our southeast region vets studying general cosmetology list, FTCC has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.According to our most recent data, FTCC supports 10,932 students, and 2,618 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 1,269 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $1,321. During this same period, 24 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Central Piedmont Community College is a public institution located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 34 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Central Piedmont Community College also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 619 of the 16,668 students enrolled at Central Piedmont Community College were GI Bill® students, of which 301 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
