Out of the 7 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for General Cosmetology that were part of this year’s ranking, Houston Community College landed the #1 spot on the list. Houston Community College is located in Houston, Texas and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 72 ’s general cosmetology degrees to qualified students.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Central New Mexico Community College. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for General Cosmetology list. CNM is a fairly large school located in Albuquerque, New Mexico that handed out 28 ’s general cosmetology degrees in 2020-2021.
CNM did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.According to our most recent data, Central New Mexico Community College supports 21,398 students, and 839 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 390 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Located in The Woodlands, Texas, this large public school handed out 53 degrees to qualified ’s general cosmetology students in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our southwest region vets studying general cosmetology list, North Harris Montgomery has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 1,932 of the 70,109 students enrolled at North Harris Montgomery were GI Bill® students, of which 1,202 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $2,042. In addition to receiving other benefits, 0 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
