The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Mortuary Science for an Associate. Chandler-Gilbert Community College is a fairly large school located in Chandler, Arizona that handed out 31 associates’s mortuary science degrees in 2020-2021.
Chandler-Gilbert Community College also took the #5 spot in our “Best Funeral & Mortuary Science Associate Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking.Of the 13,395 students enrolled at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, 391 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 244 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $1,174. Dallas Institute of Funeral Service is a small private not-for-profit school situated in Dallas, Texas. It awarded 82 associates’s mortuary science degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our southwest region associate degree vets studying mortuary science list, Dallas Institute of Funeral Service has also earned the #3 rank in our “Best Funeral & Mortuary Science Associate Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 34 of the 364 students enrolled at Dallas Institute of Funeral Service were GI Bill® students, of which 29 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $7,323. During this same period, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
