In 2020-2021, 130,328 people earned their degree in personal and culinary services, making the major the 31st most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, personal and culinary services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $18,795 and had an average of $12,190 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southwest region, there were 18,651 personal and culinary services graduates with average earnings and debt of $17,992 and $11,878 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 1,353 personal and culinary services graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,810 and $18,681 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Personal & Culinary Services for an Associate” ranking analyzed 27 colleges that offered a degree in personal and culinary services. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality personal and culinary services programs as well as strong veteran support.
