In 2020-2021, 130,328 people earned their degree in personal and culinary services, making the major the 31st most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, personal and culinary services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $18,795 and had an average of $12,190 in loans still to pay off.
Across Florida, there were 12,205 personal and culinary services graduates with average earnings and debt of $17,224 and $10,793 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Florida for Personal & Culinary Services” ranking, we looked at 9 colleges that offer a degree in personal and culinary services. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great personal and culinary services programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Keiser University - Ft Lauderdale. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Florida for Personal & Culinary Services list. Keiser University - Ft Lauderdale is a private not-for-profit institution located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 58 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Keiser University - Ft Lauderdale also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Of the 20,330 students enrolled at Keiser University - Ft Lauderdale, 75 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Valencia College is located in Orlando, Florida and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 342 ’s personal and culinary services degrees to qualified students.
