University of Southern California has taken the #1 spot in this year's philosophy ranking for non-traditional students. Located in the large city of Los Angeles, USC is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population. USC did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our Best Colleges for Philosophy in the Far Western US Region list.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.5%. There are approximately 15,291 students at USC that take at least one class online. 6,687 of USC students are attending part time.

University of California - Los Angeles comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. UCLA is a very large public school located in the large city of Los Angeles. UCLA also took the #2 spot in our Best Colleges for Philosophy in the Far Western US Region rankings.

The #3 spot in this year's ranking belongs to University of California - Santa Barbara. UCSB is a very large public school located in the medium-sized suburb of Santa Barbara. UCSB did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #3 on our Best Colleges for Philosophy in the Far Western US Region list.
