Top 3 Best Meteorology Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Veterans in the Southeast Region
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Virginia Tech. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Meteorological Science for a Bachelor’s list. Blacksburg, Virginia is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s meteorological science degrees to 42 students in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our southeast region bachelor’s degree vets studying meteorological science list, Virginia Tech has also earned the #1 rank in our “Best Meteorology Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Of the 37,024 students enrolled at Virginia Tech, 119 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Meteorological Science for a Bachelor’s list. This large school is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, and it awarded 13 bachelors’s meteorological science degrees in 2020-2021.
UNC Charlotte did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #2 on our “Best Meteorology Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list.Of the 30,146 students enrolled at UNC Charlotte, 1,476 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 642 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $4,691. On top of their other funding sources, 13 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.
