Out of the 10 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Meteorology that were part of this year’s ranking, Florida State University landed the #1 spot on the list. This large school is located in Tallahassee, Florida, and it awarded 32 ’s meteorology degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our southeast region vets studying meteorology list, Florida State has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Among the 43,569 students enrolled at Florida State, 8 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Embry-Riddle Daytona Beach is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school situated in Daytona Beach, Florida. It awarded 15 ’s meteorology degrees in 2020-2021.

NC State is a large school located in Raleigh, North Carolina that handed out 15 ’s meteorology degrees in 2020-2021.
NC State not only placed well in this ranking. University of North Carolina at Charlotte landed the #7 spot on the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Meteorology ranking. Charlotte, North Carolina is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s meteorology degrees to 13 students in 2020-2021.
UNC Charlotte also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].According to our most recent data, UNC Charlotte supports 30,146 students, and 1,476 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 642 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
