Western Illinois University landed the #24 spot on the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Physical Sciences for a Master’s ranking. Western Illinois University is a medium-sized public school situated in Macomb, Illinois. It awarded 19 masters’s physical sciences degrees in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our great lakes region master’s degree vets studying physical sciences list, WIU has also earned the #21 rank in our “Best Physical Sciences Master’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 330 of the 7,490 students enrolled at WIU were GI Bill® students, of which 62 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $4,652. In addition to receiving other benefits, 0 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. WIU does offer credit for military training for eligible students.
