In 2020-2021, 52,913 people earned their degree in precision production, making the major the 36th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, precision production graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $34,707 and had an average of $9,896 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southwest region, there were 9,925 precision production graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,755 and $10,506 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Precision Production” ranking looked at 13 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in precision production. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality precision production programs as well as strong veteran support.

Out of the 13 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Precision Production that were part of this year’s ranking, Austin Community College District landed the #1 spot on the list. Austin Community College District is located in Austin, Texas and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 106 ’s precision production degrees to qualified students.

This fairly large school is located in Tucson, Arizona, and it awarded 64 ’s precision production degrees in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at Pima County Community College District, the school also landed the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Among the 15,544 students enrolled at Pima County Community College District, 853 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. In addition to being on our southwest region vets studying precision production list, North Harris Montgomery has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 1,932 of the 70,109 students enrolled at North Harris Montgomery were GI Bill® students, of which 1,202 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. DMC is a fairly large school located in Corpus Christi, Texas that handed out 102 ’s precision production degrees in 2020-2021.

The school came in at #5 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Precision Production. San Jacinto Community College is a large public school situated in Pasadena, Texas. It awarded 279 ’s precision production degrees in 2020-2021.
San Jacinto College not only placed well in this ranking.
