In 2020-2021, 113,121 criminal justice and corrections students received their degree, making the major the 7th most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, criminal justice and corrections graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $35,465 and had an average of $25,425 in loans still to pay off.
Across Georgia, there were 3,666 criminal justice and corrections graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,104 and $31,556 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,381 criminal justice and corrections graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,491 and $29,433 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Georgia for Criminal Justice for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 23 colleges that offered a degree in criminal justice and corrections. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great criminal justice and corrections programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
