At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,745 criminal justice and corrections graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,553 and $27,844 respectively.

Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent criminal justice and corrections programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Virginia for Criminal Justice for a Bachelor’s. GMU is a public institution located in Fairfax, Virginia. The school has a large population, and it awarded 363 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at GMU, the school also landed the #1 spot in our “Best Criminal Justice & Corrections Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Virginia” ranking.Of the 38,541 students enrolled at George Mason University, 2,334 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
