University of Rhode Island has taken the #1 spot in this year's general psychology ranking for non-traditional students. URI is a fairly large public school located in the suburb of Kingston. URI also made our Best Colleges for General Psychology in Rhode Island list, coming in at #3.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.5%. Approximately 5,504 students take at least one class online at URI. About 2,982 of the students at URI are attending part time.
Rhode Island College comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. RIC is a moderately-sized public school located in the suburb of Providence. RIC did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #5 on our Best Colleges for General Psychology in Rhode Island list.
About 3.0% of RIC students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. There are approximately 3,583 students at RIC that take at least one class online. About 2,015 of the students at RIC are attending part time.
