Clemson University has taken the #1 spot in this year's psychology ranking for non-traditional students. Located in the suburb of Clemson, Clemson is a public college with a very large student population. Clemson also made our Best Colleges for Psychology in South Carolina list, coming in at #1.

University of South Carolina - Upstate earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. USC Upstate is a small public school located in the medium-sized suburb of Spartanburg. USC Upstate did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #7 on our Best Colleges for Psychology in South Carolina list.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 3.1%. Approximately 3,243 students take at least one class online at USC Upstate. About 1,416 of the students at USC Upstate are attending part time.
