Top 2 Best Science Technologies / Technicians Associate Degree Colleges for Veterans in the Southeast Region
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Ashland Community and Technical College. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Science Tech for an Associate list. Located in Ashland, Kentucky, this small public school handed out 27 degrees to qualified associates’s science tech students in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our southeast region associate degree vets studying science tech list, ACTC has also earned the #1 rank in our “Best Science Technologies / Technicians Associate Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 100 of the 2,400 students enrolled at Ashland Community and Technical College were GI Bill® students, of which 46 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $3,241. During this same period, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Science Tech for an Associate. South Charleston, West Virginia is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The public school handed out associates’s science tech degrees to 12 students in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our southeast region associate degree vets studying science tech list, BridgeValley Community & Technical College has also earned the #2 rank in our “Best Science Technologies / Technicians Associate Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 86 of the 1,662 students enrolled at BridgeValley Community & Technical College were GI Bill® students, of which 43 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $3,187. In addition to receiving other benefits, 0 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
