New York University tops the 2021 list of our schools in the United States that are best for non-traditional anthropology students. Located in the large city of New York, NYU is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, NYU has also earned the #3 rank in our Best Colleges for Anthropology ranking.
The student loan default rate at NYU is lower than is typical, just 0.8% of students default in three years. Approximately 21,614 students take at least one class online at NYU. About 8,829 of the students at NYU are attending part time.
The #2 spot in this year's ranking belongs to Monmouth University. Monmouth is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school located in the large suburb of West Long Branch. As a testament to the quality of education offered at Monmouth, the school also landed the #8 rank in our Best Colleges for Anthropology ranking.
