University of California - Los Angeles tops the 2021 list of our schools in the Far Western US Region that are best for non-traditional anthropology students. UCLA is a very large public school located in the city of Los Angeles. UCLA not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #1 on our Best Colleges for Anthropology in the Far Western US Region list.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.7%. Approximately 25,859 students take at least one class online at UCLA. About 2,161 of the students at UCLA are attending part time.

University of California - Santa Barbara earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. UCSB is a fairly large public school located in the medium-sized suburb of Santa Barbara. UCSB did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #2 on our Best Colleges for Anthropology in the Far Western US Region list.
