Saint Joseph's University has taken the #1 spot in this year's criminology ranking for non-traditional students. St. Joe's is a moderately-sized private not-for-profit school located in the large city of Philadelphia. St. Joe's also made our Best Colleges for Criminology in Pennsylvania list, coming in at #1.
The student loan default rate at St. Joe’s is lower than is typical, just 1.2% of students default in three years. 2,032 of St. Joe’s students are exclusively distance learners. 2,163 students are part time.

Indiana University of Pennsylvania - Main Campus landed the #2 spot in our 2021 best criminology schools for non-traditional students. IUP is a moderately-sized public school located in the distant town of Indiana. IUP also took the #4 spot in our Best Colleges for Criminology in Pennsylvania rankings.
About 2.6% of IUP students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. Approximately 3,692 students take at least one class online at IUP. About 2,127 of the students at IUP are attending part time.
