The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great general social sciences programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of North Dakota. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Social Sciences list. UND is a fairly large public school situated in Grand Forks, North Dakota. It awarded 18 ’s social sciences degrees in 2020-2021.

K -State is a large school located in Manhattan, Kansas that handed out 72 ’s social sciences degrees in 2020-2021.
K -State not only placed well in this ranking.
