Across the Great Lakes region, there were 5,797 political science and government graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,195 and $24,420 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 5,292 political science and government graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,343 and $26,790 respectively.

University of Wisconsin - River Falls landed the #23 spot on the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Political Science for a Bachelor’s ranking. UW - River Falls is a medium-sized school located in River Falls, Wisconsin that handed out 12 bachelors’s political science degrees in 2020-2021.

Located in Chicago, Illinois, this fairly large private not-for-profit school awarded 139 diplomas to qualified bachelors’s political science students in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our great lakes region bachelor’s degree vets studying political science list, Loyola Chicago has also earned the #19 rank in our “Best Political Science & Government Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” ranking.According to our most recent data, Loyola University Chicago supports 16,893 students, and 261 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 165 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $17,263. During this same period, 78 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. La Crosse, Wisconsin is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s political science degrees to 59 students in 2020-2021.
