U of U is a very large public school located in the city of Salt Lake City. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, U of U has also earned the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Social Sciences in the Rocky Mountains Region ranking.
The student loan default rate at U of U is lower than is typical, just 0.8% of students default in three years. Approximately 19,378 students take at least one class online at U of U. 7,185 students are part time.

The #2 spot in this year's ranking belongs to University of Colorado Boulder. CU - Boulder is a fairly large public school located in the city of Boulder. CU - Boulder not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #2 on our Best Colleges for Social Sciences in the Rocky Mountains Region list.
The student loan default rate at CU - Boulder is lower than is typical, just 1.1% of students default in three years. Approximately 24,299 students take at least one class online at CU - Boulder. 7,631 of CU - Boulder students are attending part time.

University of Colorado Denver/Anschutz Medical Campus comes in at #3 in this year's ranking. CU Anschutz is a very large public school located in the city of Denver. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, CU Anschutz has also earned the #6 rank in our Best Colleges for Social Sciences in the Rocky Mountains Region ranking.
