UMN Twin Cities is a fairly large public school located in the city of Minneapolis. UMN Twin Cities also made our Best Colleges for Social Sciences in the Plains States Region list, coming in at #1.
About 0.6% of UMN Twin Cities students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. There are approximately 21,237 students at UMN Twin Cities that take at least one class online. 13,655 students are part time.

University of Iowa landed the #2 spot in our 2021 best social sciences schools for non-traditional students. Iowa is a fairly large public school located in the small city of Iowa City. Iowa also took the #3 spot in our Best Colleges for Social Sciences in the Plains States Region rankings.

Our rankings recognize Upper Iowa University as the #3 school in this year's rankings. UIU is a small private not-for-profit school located in the remote area of Fayette.

The #4 spot in this year's ranking belongs to University of Missouri - Columbia. Located in the midsize city of Columbia, Mizzou is a public school with a very large student population. Mizzou also took the #5 spot in our Best Colleges for Social Sciences in the Plains States Region rankings.
