It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for veterans. College Factual has developed its “Most Veteran Friendly in Maryland for Social Sciences” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
In 2020-2021, 205,984 social sciences students received their degree, making the major the 5th most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, social sciences graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $36,262 and had an average of $23,306 in loans still to pay off.
Across Maryland, there were 5,333 social sciences graduates with average earnings and debt of $43,036 and $23,250 respectively.

Top 14 Best Social Sciences Colleges for Veterans in Maryland
Out of the 14 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Maryland for Social Sciences that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Maryland Global Campus landed the #1 spot on the list. Located in Adelphi, Maryland, this large public school awarded 310 diplomas to qualified ’s social sciences students in 2020-2021.
