When pursuing a degree in today’s world, veterans have many different options to choose from. College Factual has developed its “Most Veteran Friendly in Georgia for Social Sciences” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
In 2020-2021, 205,984 social sciences students received their degree, making the major the 5th most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, social sciences graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $36,262 and had an average of $23,306 in loans still to pay off.
Across Georgia, there were 3,985 social sciences graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,905 and $26,895 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Georgia for Social Sciences” ranking looked at 16 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in social sciences. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent social sciences programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

University of Georgia is a large school located in Athens, Georgia that handed out 806 ’s social sciences degrees in 2020-2021.
