When pursuing a degree in today’s world, veterans have many different options to choose from. College Factual was founded, in part, to help students make the decision as to what would be the best school for them. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Community Organization for a Bachelor’s” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 3,096 people earned their degree in community organization and advocacy, making the major the 169th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, community organization and advocacy graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $38,265 and had an average of $26,263 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 566 community organization and advocacy graduates with average earnings and debt of $49,872 and $27,886 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 293 community organization and advocacy graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,343 and $26,790 respectively.

The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great community organization and advocacy programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
