In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, Aurora has also earned the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Social Work in Illinois ranking.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.6%. 1,638 students at Aurora are exclusively online. 1,443 students are part time.

Northeastern Illinois University comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. Northeastern Illinois University is a medium-sized public school located in the city of Chicago. Western Illinois University comes in at #5 in this year's ranking. Located in the remote town of Macomb, WIU is a public college with a medium-sized student population. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, WIU has also earned the #7 rank in our Best Colleges for Social Work in Illinois ranking.
