Our Lady of the Lake University has taken the #1 spot in this year's social work ranking for non-traditional students. Located in the large city of San Antonio, OLLU is a private not-for-profit college with a small student population. OLLU not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #7 on our Best Colleges for Social Work in the Southwest Region list.
About 1.4% of OLLU students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. 980 of OLLU students are exclusively distance learners. 319 of OLLU students are attending part time.

The University of Texas at Arlington comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. Located in the large city of Arlington, UT Arlington is a public college with a very large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at UT Arlington, the school also landed the #6 rank in our Best Colleges for Social Work in the Southwest Region ranking.
The student loan default rate at UT Arlington is lower than is typical, just 1.4% of students default in three years. 17,309 students at UT Arlington are exclusively online. 22,217 students are part time.
