Across Vermont, there were 121 social work graduates with average earnings and debt of $41,308 and $20,500 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 85 social work graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,418 and $24,482 respectively.

Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent social work programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

Out of the 1 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Vermont for Social Work for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Vermont landed the #1 spot on the list. UVM is a fairly large school located in Burlington, Vermont that handed out 41 bachelors’s social work degrees in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at UVM, the school also landed the #1 spot in our “Best Social Work Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Vermont” ranking.Among the 13,292 students enrolled at University of Vermont, 218 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
