Out of the 9 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Virginia for Social Work for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, Virginia Commonwealth University landed the #1 spot on the list. Richmond, Virginia is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s social work degrees to 107 students in 2020-2021.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend George Mason University. The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Virginia for Social Work for a Bachelor’s. GMU is a public institution located in Fairfax, Virginia. The school has a large population, and it awarded 49 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.

GMU also made our “Best Social Work Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Virginia” list, coming in at #2.Our most recent data shows that 2,334 of the 38,541 students enrolled at George Mason University were GI Bill® students, of which 1,583 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
