Across New Mexico, there were 428 social work graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,675 and $22,030 respectively.

Top 3 Best Social Work Colleges for Veterans in New Mexico
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend New Mexico State University - Main Campus. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in New Mexico for Social Work list. Las Cruces, New Mexico is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s social work degrees to 105 students in 2020-2021.
NMSU Main Campus also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].According to our most recent data, NMSU Main Campus supports 14,227 students, and 620 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 285 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Located in Silver City, New Mexico, this small public school awarded 234 degrees to qualified ’s social work students in 2020-2021.
Western New Mexico University did well in our major quality rankings, too.
