Top 5 Best Other Social Work Colleges for Veterans
Out of the 5 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly for Other Social Work that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Washington - Seattle Campus landed the #1 spot on the list. This large school is located in Seattle, Washington, and it awarded 27 ’s other social work degrees in 2020-2021.
UW Seattle did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Of the 48,149 students enrolled at University of Washington - Seattle Campus, 1,283 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 769 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $14,190. In addition to receiving other benefits, 0 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Marquette University. The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly for Other Social Work. Marquette is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 30 ’s other social work degrees to qualified students.
Marquette also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 140 of the 11,550 students enrolled at Marquette were GI Bill® students, of which 93 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $15,404. On top of their other funding sources, 30 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Marquette offers credit for military training for eligible students.

CSUSB is located in San Bernardino, California and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 2 ’s other social work degrees to qualified students.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at CSUSB, the school also landed the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Of the 19,689 students enrolled at CSUSB, 400 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 170 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $5,274. On top of their other funding sources, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. CSUSB does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

Gallaudet University is a small private not-for-profit school situated in Washington, District of Columbia. It awarded 10 ’s other social work degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our vets studying other social work list, Gallaudet has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Of the 1,451 students enrolled at Gallaudet, 22 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 9 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $8,773. On top of their other funding sources, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
