Lewis University tops the 2021 list of our schools in Illinois that are best for non-traditional air transportation students. Located in the large suburb of Romeoville, Lewis is a private not-for-profit school with a moderately-sized student population. Lewis not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #1 on our Best Colleges for Air Transportation in Illinois list.
The student loan default rate at Lewis is lower than is typical, just 1.4% of students default in three years. There are approximately 2,947 students at Lewis that take at least one class online. About 2,022 of the students at Lewis are attending part time.
Southern Illinois University Carbondale earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the city of Carbondale, SIUC is a public college with a fairly large student population.
