It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for veterans. College Factual was founded, in part, to help students make the decision as to what would be the best school for them. Our “Most Veteran Friendly for Air Transport for an Associate” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 9,984 people earned their degree in air transportation, making the major the 91st most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, air transportation graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $46,821 and had an average of $21,674 in loans still to pay off.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 1,828 air transportation graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,806 and $19,336 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for Air Transport for an Associate” ranking, we looked at 18 colleges that offer a degree in air transportation. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent air transportation programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the air transportation program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
