When it comes to choosing a college, veterans have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in South Carolina for Media Management” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 4,788 people earned their degree in arts and media management, making the major the 136th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, arts and media management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $32,900 and had an average of $25,520 in loans still to pay off.
Across South Carolina, there were 104 arts and media management graduates with average earnings and debt of $27,586 and $22,250 respectively.

The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great arts and media management programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Winthrop University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in South Carolina for Media Management list. Located in Rock Hill, South Carolina, this medium-sized public school awarded 20 degrees to qualified ’s media management students in 2020-2021.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend College of Charleston. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in South Carolina for Media Management list. C of C is located in Charleston, South Carolina and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 70 ’s media management degrees to qualified students.
C of C also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.According to our most recent data, College of Charleston supports 10,384 students, and 536 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 299 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Located in Anderson, South Carolina, this small private not-for-profit school awarded 10 diplomas to qualified ’s media management students in 2020-2021.
Anderson University South Carolina did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Our most recent data shows that 100 of the 3,848 students enrolled at Anderson University South Carolina were GI Bill® students, of which 47 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $8,507. On top of their other funding sources, 14 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.
The low undergrad student loan default rate of [DEFAULT_RATE_STRING]% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. For comparison, the national default rate is 10.1%.
